Morrow is imagined for people who want a small amount of structure at the start of the day without the pressure of a performance-focused habit tracker.

The app should turn a mood check-in into a manageable routine, acknowledge progress gently and make missed steps feel recoverable rather than punitive.

The brief

Design a fictional morning companion that encourages consistency without turning wellbeing into another demanding scoreboard. The interaction model must feel native, personal and credible on both iOS and Android.

Creative direction

Rounded Nunito typography, lavender depth and peach progress cues create warmth without becoming childish. Dark plum provides dependable contrast while soft surfaces distinguish reflective moments from actions.

Product experience

A mood and intention check-in shapes the Today view, structured routine cards record progress and Insights responds to the completed day. Users can restart the flow, revisit their check-in and move through every task without relying on a swipe gesture.

Responsive system

The product remains a genuine phone interface while the surrounding presentation adapts around it. Internal spacing, navigation placement and control treatment change between iOS and Android rather than simply changing the device border.

Motion language

Spring-like card feedback, subtle device depth and a short completion celebration reinforce progress. Lite and reduced modes preserve every state change without tilt, drag or continuous animation.

Access and fallback

Routine rows use labelled 44-pixel controls with aligned text and metadata. Swipe remains optional, navigation includes icons and text, and progress is announced through readable values and live completion feedback.
